Sanya Sequeira is an independent filmmaker and post-production specialist with over 14 years of experience in the industry. She began her career as a gaffer in San Francisco in 2010 and transitioned into post-production by 2013, working as a Re-Recording Mixer on a Roger Corman feature film. That project sparked a lasting passion for editing, sound, color grading, and the storytelling power of post.

In 2014, Sanya was recognized in New York as an emerging woman filmmaker for her directorial debut Dole. Her creative work has since contributed to projects that have screened at Cannes, Cinefest, and the BAFTAs.

After several years in the U.S. working on digital content for brands like Google and Twitter, she returned to the UAE in late 2016 and joined twofour54 in Abu Dhabi. Her work since then has spanned commercial, branded, and narrative content.

In 2018, she began teaching Filmmaking and Video Editing at SAE University College in Dubai, where she spent six years mentoring emerging filmmakers. In 2020, she also played a key role in helping set up Raindance Film School in Dubai, serving as Interim Head of the Film School during its early stages.

Sanya is currently a Post Producer and Video & Sound Editor at Craft Worldwide, where she leads post workflows and collaborates with agencies such as FP7 McCann, McCann Paris, MullenLowe, and Commonwealth. She has delivered campaigns for major clients including L’Oréal, Dubai Tourism, Mastercard, McDonald’s, Barbican, Mirinda, Nestlé, and General Motors (Chevrolet and OnStar)—crafting polished, story-driven content across multiple platforms.

When she’s not deep in a timeline, she’s likely taking photos, sipping strong coffee, or rewatching The Office—again.
