I'm a filmmaker, post-production producer, editor, and educator with over 14 years of experience working across film, television, advertising, and digital content.

My journey into filmmaking began in San Francisco, where I started working on film sets in 2010 as a gaffer before gradually finding my way into post-production. What began as a technical interest quickly became a passion for storytelling through editing, sound, color, and the creative process that happens after the cameras stop rolling. By 2013, I was working in post-production on independent feature films, and it was there that I discovered the craft that would shape much of my career.

In 2014, my directorial debut, Dolae, was recognized in New York as part of a showcase celebrating emerging women filmmakers. Since then, my work has spanned both narrative and commercial storytelling, contributing to projects that have screened internationally and supporting award-winning campaigns recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, Effies, Lynx, and The One Show.

After several years in the United States working across film production and digital content for brands such as Google and Twitter, I returned to the UAE and continued building a career that bridges creativity, storytelling, and production. Today, I work across advertising, branded content, and film, leading post-production workflows while collaborating with directors, agencies, artists, and clients to bring ideas to life. My experience has included campaigns for brands such as Mastercard, McDonald's, L'Oréal, General Motors, Kia, Arla, Kinder, Dubai Tourism, and many others across the Middle East and beyond.

Alongside my industry work, teaching has always been an important part of my journey. Since 2018, I have taught Filmmaking and Video Editing at SAE Dubai, delivering short courses and professional training programs for both public and private groups. My students range from aspiring filmmakers and content creators to professionals looking to develop new skills or transition into creative careers. In 2020, I also helped establish Raindance Film School Dubai and served as Interim Head of the Film School during its launch phase.

 

At my core, I see myself as a storyteller. Whether I'm developing a film project, producing a regional advertising campaign, sitting in an edit suite, or teaching the next generation of filmmakers, I'm driven by the same goal: creating meaningful stories that connect with people.
